Welcome to the Karmen Ward State Farm Agent office in Portland, IN, your local insurance resource proudly serving the community since 2014. With over 37 years of experience in the insurance industry, I bring a deep understanding of what it takes to help people, families, and business owners protect what matters most. Our office serves customers across Indiana and Ohio, including Dunkirk, Redkey, Winchester, Bluffton, and communities throughout Jay County, Adams County, and Randolph County and beyond.

Creating a welcoming, supportive office environment is important to me. I grew up in nearby Randolph County and take pride in serving my neighbors in Portland, IN and surrounding areas. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for over 21 years, and we’re proud parents of two daughters and grandparents to two beautiful grandchildren. I also love golfing, baking, and working on creative projects like quilting.
