Welcome to the Karmen Ward State Farm Agent office, your local insurance resource serving Portland, IN and surrounding communities since 2014! With over 37 years of experience in the insurance industry, I’m passionate about using my knowledge to help people, families, and business owners in my community with all their coverage needs. We serve all of Indiana and Ohio and work with lots of people from Dunkirk, Redkey, Winchester, Bluffton, and other communities throughout Jay, Adams, and Randolph counties and beyond. As we welcome the arrival of fall, it’s an excellent time to review your insurance coverage and make sure you’re prepared for the months ahead! Whether you’re gearing up for a holiday trip or preparing your home for cooler weather, our team is here to help keep you covered with Auto, RV, Home, Renters, Condo Insurance, and more. We also offer Life Insurance to help you plan for your family’s future, Business Insurance options for our fellow small business owners, and even Pet Insurance for your four-legged family members! I grew up in nearby Randolph County and am proud to play a part in helping the Portland community thrive! When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family. My husband and I have been happily married for over 21 years, and we’re proud parents to two wonderful daughters and grandparents to two beautiful grandchildren. I also enjoy golfing, baking, and working on creative projects like quilting.
